Report content or submit a takedown request

Edem AI LLC (trading as Edem AI) is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and lawful platform. If you believe that any content on Edem AI violates our policies, infringes your rights, or breaks applicable laws, you may submit a complaint or takedown request using the process outlined below.

1. What You Can Report

You may report content that you believe:

  • Violates our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use policy
  • Depicts, promotes, or involves minors in any sexual, suggestive, or exploitative manner
  • Contains non-consensual, abusive, or illegal material
  • Infringes intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark) or privacy rights
  • Impersonates a real individual without their consent
  • Promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism, or hate speech
  • Is otherwise harmful, misleading, or inappropriate

2. How to Submit a Complaint

Send your complaint or takedown request to:

Please include the following information:

  • A clear description of the content or behavior you are reporting
  • The location of the content (links, character names, screenshots, or other identifying details)
  • Your name and contact information
  • The reason for your complaint and any applicable legal basis
  • Any supporting evidence (documents, screenshots, correspondence)

3. DMCA and Intellectual Property Takedowns

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on the platform without authorization, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • Identification of the infringing material and its location on the platform
  • Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Send DMCA notices to support@edemai.org with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request."

4. Review Process

Upon receiving a complaint, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt within 48 hours
  • Review the reported content against our policies and applicable law
  • Take appropriate action, which may include removing or restricting the content, issuing warnings, or suspending or terminating the responsible account
  • Notify the complainant of the outcome where appropriate
  • Request additional information if the initial complaint is insufficient

We aim to resolve complaints within 7 business days, though complex cases may require additional time.

5. Legal Compliance

Edem AI LLC cooperates with lawful requests from law enforcement authorities and regulatory bodies. We comply with applicable laws regarding content removal, data preservation, and disclosure. We reserve the right to proactively remove content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be illegal or in violation of our policies.

6. False or Abusive Reports

Submitting knowingly false, misleading, or abusive complaints may result in restrictions on your account, including suspension of reporting privileges. Under the DMCA, knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may subject you to liability for damages.

7. Appeals

If your content was removed or your account was restricted, and you believe the action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing support@edemai.org with:

  • Your account email or username
  • A description of the action taken against your content or account
  • Your reason for believing the action was incorrect
  • Any supporting evidence

Appeals will be reviewed by a different member of our team and you will be notified of the outcome.
