• Account Information — Email address, password (hashed), and display name when you register directly
• OAuth Profile Data — If you sign in via Google or Discord, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from those providers
• Profile Preferences — Display name, avatar, and content safety level preference (safe, moderate, or open)
• Chat Messages — Text messages you send to AI characters, including conversation history
• Characters You Create — Character names, descriptions, appearance settings, personality traits, and system prompts
• Support Communications — Information you provide when submitting support tickets or contacting us
• Affiliate Applications — Name, contact details, and promotional methods if you apply to our affiliate program

2.2 Information Generated Through Use

• Generated Media — AI-generated images and videos you create using the Service
• Coin Transactions — Records of Coin purchases, earnings, and spending activity
• Challenge Progress — Completion status of daily challenges and quests

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information — Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device identifiers
• IP Address — Used for security, fraud prevention, and approximate geolocation
• Usage Data — Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interaction patterns
• Cookies and Local Storage — Session tokens, preferences, and analytics data (see Sections 8–11 below)
• Affiliate Tracking — A 30-day cookie to attribute referrals to the correct affiliate partner

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including AI chat, image generation, and video generation
• Process payments, manage subscriptions, and track Coin balances
• Personalize your experience, including AI character memory and conversation context
• Enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use policies
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
• Communicate with you about your account, transactions, and support requests
• Send promotional emails (only with your consent; you may opt out at any time)
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
• Calculate and process Creator Program earnings and Affiliate Program commissions

4. AI Conversations and Third-Party Processing

When you interact with AI characters, your messages are processed by third-party large language model (LLM) providers via the OpenRouter API. This means:

• Your chat messages are sent to third-party AI model providers for response generation
• We do not sell your conversations to any third party
• Conversations may be reviewed by automated systems or, in limited cases, by authorized personnel to ensure platform safety and compliance
• AI models may use conversation data to generate responses but do not persistently "learn" from individual conversations
• We store your conversation history to provide continuity and enable features like AI memory

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share information with the following categories of third parties, solely as necessary to operate the Service:

• Payment Processors — Stripe and/or Paddle process your payment transactions. They receive payment details necessary to complete transactions but we do not store your full card numbers
• Infrastructure Providers — Supabase (database, authentication, and storage) and RunPod (GPU processing for AI image and video generation) host and process data on our behalf
• AI Model Providers — OpenRouter routes your chat messages to language model providers for AI response generation
• Email Service Providers — For transactional and promotional email delivery
• Law Enforcement — If required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public

6. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States and the European Economic Area. Our third-party service providers may also process data internationally. Where required, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border data transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:

• Account data is retained until you request deletion
• Chat messages and generated media are retained for the lifetime of your account
• Payment and transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and accounting purposes
• Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics

To request account deletion and erasure of your personal data, contact us at support@edemai.org. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

Please note that blocking or deleting essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using core features of the Service.

12. Age Restriction and Underage Policy

Edem AI is an adult entertainment platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. The safety and protection of minors is our highest priority.

12.1 Age Requirement

Access to the Service is restricted exclusively to individuals who are:

• At least 18 years of age
• Of legal age to view adult content in their jurisdiction (if the legal age is higher than 18)
• Legally capable of entering into a binding agreement

12.2 Zero Tolerance Policy

We have a zero tolerance policy regarding minors. This means:

• No person under 18 may create an account, access, or use the Service under any circumstances
• No content depicting, referencing, or involving minors in any sexual, suggestive, or exploitative context is permitted
• All AI-generated characters must be depicted as adults (18 years or older)
• Users may not create characters that appear to be, or are described as being, under 18
• Any attempt to circumvent age restrictions will result in immediate account termination

12.3 Age Verification Measures

Upon accessing Edem AI, users are required to confirm that they are 18 years of age or older. We implement the following measures:

• Age confirmation gate before accessing the platform
• Terms of Service acceptance requiring affirmation of age eligibility
• Account registration requiring acknowledgment of the 18+ age requirement

We reserve the right to implement additional age verification measures as required by law or at our discretion.

12.4 Handling Suspected Minors

If we discover or have reasonable grounds to believe that a user is under 18, we will:

• Immediately suspend and terminate the account
• Delete all personal data associated with the account
• Delete all generated content, messages, and conversation history
• Block the associated email address and any identifiable information from creating new accounts
• Report the incident to relevant authorities if warranted

12.5 Reporting Underage Users

If you believe or suspect that a minor is using Edem AI, please report it immediately to support@edemai.org. Include any relevant information such as the username, account details, or evidence that supports your report. All reports are handled confidentially.

12.6 Parental Advisory

Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's internet activity. We strongly recommend:

• Using parental control software to restrict access to adult websites
• Supervising children's use of internet-connected devices
• Discussing online safety with minors

Recommended parental control tools include Net Nanny, Qustodio, Norton Family, and built-in parental controls in iOS (Screen Time) and Android (Family Link).

13. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — Request erasure of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Data Portability — Request a machine-readable copy of your data

• Restriction — Request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances
• Objection — Object to processing of your data for specific purposes
